Pick her up for the first time?

I've had Tali for about two weeks now, it's about time I picked her up isn't it?
What's the best way of going about picking her up, without stressing her out or getting bitten?

Usually, you will cup your hand in front of her and she will walk into your hand.

Or at least that will give her some sound footing.

I usually put my fingers around them and then, make sure that they have a hand underneath them to support them.

As for time ... or when ... I do not know.

Yeah I figured cupping in front of her would spark her curiousity. I heard you can scoop them too, but I don't want to piss her off and make her bite me lol.
