Sorry the tank picture loaded upside down! I'm new here and super excited to be picking up my first female gecko today from a person on Craigslist. I've been lurking here for a while and reading as much as I can about their care. I have many other different pets too, but this is my first reptile. I will finish the moist hide today and am picking up some repashy on my way to get her as the store is a ways away. I also found this 29 gallon tank for only $9 at a thrift store so that made me super happy! Anyway, this is her picture the seller had. According to him she's a HTCB. (I think I abbreviated that right.) Thanks for letting me share and I'm super excited.

So here she is! I had to wait over an hour outside they guy's house for the guy to come home from work. Poor thing was in a tub in the dark in a shed sandwiched between ball pythons. He was telling me how to feed her and how he once didn't feed her for an entire month. She was supposed to be a breeding project but he decided to go into snakes instead. Super happy she's mine and she already seems very friendly! Anyway, I've decided to name her Saura and here she is exploring her new habit.

Thank you everyone! She is a super great gecko. She never runs and hides; she just looks right up at me. I don't know if that is normal or not since she my first. I'm also excited that she ate her first good meal. She seemed to not like the repashy and would only eat the mealworms plain. I tried again tonight and she ate all the dusted ones in the dish! I know it's still early and she's still adjusting but I was super excited anyway.
