Picky gecko help

Hi guys.

Well, maybe two months ago, I had offered my snake a pinky and he refused it because he was about to shed, and i didn't want to waste the pinky so I just gave it to my gecko since she's never had one before in her two years so I figured she could have a rare treat. The problem is, she refused to eat anything else, but I can tell she's hungry since she's giving me "that look".

This happened before when I was feeding her silkworms but since I couldn't get them shipped once it got colder, I eventually got her to eat supers again by just waiting. But I tried that this time and she still won't accept them! She's starting to lose weight so I'm really getting worried. I tried supers, mealies, crickets, and those phoenix worms since they were being sold at my petstore. I would try ordering silkworms but the weather still isn't stable here and I don't want to spend the high costs just for them to die during shipping.

Should I wait until I can buy silkworms?? Or should I take her to the vet? And please don't scold me about the pinky, I don't like wasting them, and I've never fed her one before, it was just a treat. I've seen people who feed them occasionally with no problem.

sdfsgd those creep me out so much lol. And while that still wouldn't stop me from trying since her health means more than that, she's never interested in fast moving things.. Even when I fed her the supers (and she actually ate them), if they walked away out of her reach, she'd lose interest until I brought it back in front of her. That's why she likes the silkworms and that pinky so much, also because they're squishy. So I didn't think they'd work :/

You might be able to try butterworms, which are a bit pricey, but are supposed to be very nutritional. Hornworms are another possibility, although they grow super fast. I do second the roaches though. I used to be super squeamish about them, but they're actually way nicer than the crickets (slower moving too). Some people are allergic to roach frass (poop) though. You could also try pulling the back legs off of your crickets which will slow them down for her. Good luck with your gecko, they can be so stubborn sometimes.
