Decided to take the dogs to the woods today and found this little guy in the stream. Only had my cell on me but the pic came out well. Enjoy. My dogs sure were excited about seeing him

Now that's a nice garter. Here in Chicago, we have the more darker olive green with yellow stripes. It reminds me of the time when I was in my teens, my friends and I would catch them by the dozens. GOOD TIMES!
