Well too bread leopards mature at about 12 months old and those look like babies. Their coloring will change as they shed. And please don't use sand yet and put a humidity box in their cage for them.

well regardless of how old they are and since u dont know its kinda hard to know when 9 months is...but they are kinda small and need to put on alot of weight b4 breeding...i wouldnt breed until at least 50 grams each.

Sounds like pretty good advice to me. I don't think anyone was attacking you. Asking questions like " what morph are these normals" and "when I breed these normals will they make normals or something else", are questions that will be answered by people who think you know nothing about leos, in the way they were answered. I think you need to take positive and helpful critisism and be happy.:) :main_yes: :main_thumbsup:

BTW! Males will be ok at 9 months if they are at least 45 grams, but females should be a minimum 1 year old and 50 grams. ;)

I second both of Mike's posts.

No one was attacking you. They were just making sure you had all the information.

wow!!!! if he thinks that is being attacked then I assume he hasn't joined any myspace herp groups. All I gave you was good sound advice and info I have read and recieved by 3 highly recginized leopord gecko breeders. If you want me too drop names I will but I have been doing my research on breeding for a few months.

To answer your other posted question, yes they will only produce normal offspring. You may or maynot get more of the orange but it will still be normal.

You need too get a scale that weighs grams. I don't think there is an exact term for the type of scale. I see them for sale at alot of places. If you are going to order on-line, I think lllreptiles has an digital scale for like $15.00 plus shipping and taxes. I would check your local Walmart or other store first.
