I agree with others that we can't say for sure because of slightly different light conditions/position and because color changes aren't always very clear on a computer screen, but...
In the "is he shedding" pics, his colors do look duller, but his tail absolutely looks pale...like shed-skin that is almost ready. On my blizzard, I can clearly see the shed-cylcle on his dark skin. It starts with the tail and dries/pales as it progresses toward the nose. Once most of the face is dull/pale, it will usually shed that night.
^^^Normal
^^^90% ready to shed.
^^^Pic#2 is 4 hours later.
^^^Pic#3 is 1 hour after Pic#2.
It usually happens in a day or so, and you may not even know they went through the shed cycle unless they left a piece uneaten (and you find the piece in their tank/tub).
Haha awesome pictures !! nd I didnt know it started with the tail. I was getting worried that what if his tail was turning grey because of something else but I knew it had to be because of shed. Well I use a container u see in my first pictures and I have to spray it every morning and night because it dries up on the towel but sort of moist dips on the container. I hope to get moss eventually. Should I always keep a moist hide in there? Even after his shed?
I always keep a moist hide...not everyone agrees, but I don't spot the drying colors of my raptors very easily. So I keep it in there ready for them if they need it. Sometimes they lay on it just because it is comfortable (or refreshing) to them
And I think my leos shed about once/2weeks almost perfectly....they are all between 3-7 months old.
