22 pups! They came from two females. But one of them didnt want to take care of them so the other female stepped up to the plate and took over.

Wow, that's a lotta pups. I notice with my son's mouse colony that the dominant female usually takes all the babies regardless of whether or not the biological mother is taking care of them or not.
