pinkies...

My female leos just laid eggs yesterday and I was told to give them a pinky after they lay to give them more fat and nutrients....but...they didn't want them. One of the pinkies moved around a little so she got interested then licked it and walked away (I think it's because it wasn't moving enough 'cause they saw the crickets after and just launched at them)...is there any way to get them to eat the pinkies or any other things to feed them to give them more fat?

I heard that some geckos would just not eat them. If she seemed interested at first you can try moving it around yourself in front of her a little more, I usually do that with Leila for the silkworms.

An alternative is waxworms.

Yeah I tried that and they almost acted like they were afraid of it...Then later on, cuz I tried to just let them do it, they just like walked on top of them like they weren't there. So I'm just gunna say forget the pinkies and try wax worms. Thank you very much for responding.

Butterworms are fatty nutrtious goodness lol. Pure fat..yeah, waxworms. other than that, I believe they say a free-choice calcium dish is good too.
