I was just wondering, is there a difference between feeding live pinky mice and frozen? I have tried both and my leos and beardies seemed more receptive to the live ones. Is there a difference between the two or is it mainly just personal preference? Will my geckos benefit more from frozen or live? Please dont post anything like "its cruel to feed live mice." I just want to know which you prefer and which is more beneficial to my reptiles. Thanks for any thoughts on this!

Personally I`ve never had Leopards touch anything that wasn't live. Same goes for Beardies. But I mean there is honestly no need to feed Mice if your geckos are on a Good insect regimen. I NEVER feed mice unless its to breeding females that need to get back up to weight.

I don't have any experience with feeding pinkies to geckos, but I do know that f/t (frozen/thawed) has many more pros than feeding live. Even if the gecko won't take it.
With live pinkies you get more of a risk of parasite. Anything from mites to internal parasites. With them being frozen, it kills off any of these risks.
But! That's just my knowledge of mice with snakes.
I'm sure the same risks go with Leo's, though.
