That she now has side boobs. She now weighs 52.1 grams.
And though Isobel weighs more than her by .8 grams, Piper actually is the one "blessed" with side boobs. I TRIED to get pics of them when I was cleaning her cage last night, but when she moves, they disappear.
But when I first pull her warm hide off of her, and she's laying flat on the floor of her enclosure, MAN! you can totally see the side boobs. They look like little water sacks behind her armpits. AWWW.
You can KIND OF see one of them in this picture:
KIND OF here, too:
In this pic, you can see where it would be if she didn't have that arm stretched out.
Side boobs mean good things for females, right? Or are they just one of those things that some have and some don't?
Isobel is at 52.9 grams.
But she doesn't have side boobs. But she's feisty.
And she wants you all to know that, "This mai poo spot. I poo here."
My two male enigmas aren't quite as big as my female RSTs, but, if everyone keeps growing at the rate they are, they SHOULD BE ready to breed by this coming season. But my geckos aren't eating as much in this colder weather as they do when it's warmer. They eat two decent sized roaches every other day. We cannot get them to eat every day right now. They just won't.
But this is my boy. This is my sweetie. I LOVELOVELOVE this boy.
And this is WHY I adore this gecko so much. What a lovebug (for a gecko).
And Godzuki is making a come back. A couple weeks ago or so he got into a battle with a decent sized roach we gave him. I'm not sure what happened, but I checked on him one night and his roach was still in his dish. The next day when I checked on him, the roach was gone, there were guts on the side of his humid hide and paper towel, and he looked like someone punched him in the face. His snout had a small cut on it and his mouth was a tad swollen. He's FINALLY recovering from it, and the swellilng is almost completely gone.
Thanks for looking!
