I am planning on giving a lecture about reptiles at school.I am gonna talk to my principal about it sometime this coming week.I am going to try and fit the 6,7,and 8 graders in the bleachers then me and my microphone will be on stage giving the lecture. Now if he lets me do this then I am going to bring in my leos. And the main question of this post.I am going to try and get a burm or some other large snake and have it wrapped around my shoulders just to get everybody freaked out like it is gonna kill me.I am going to talk about things like the bad rep that reptiles have and ask more simple quesions.Ok but back to the point do you all know where I could get a snake to use just for that day?My local pet store that has reptiles have red tailed boas that are babies that is kindof not what I am looking for does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
michael

I don't think bringing a burm that you are unfamiliar with to a school of freaked out kids is a good idea. On the other hand I think having someone professional that works with and knows the snake being used is a good idea.
Burms can be unpredictable and you have to know how to handle them.

I think an adult ball python would be good. They aren't that big but are very handleable. and you could wrap it around your neck without the fear of getting choked to death lol.
