These plans were drafted by a ruler only but are pretty much to scale other than the last drawing that was just kind of drawn out to show what the tanks would looked like stacked. I also drew out how to get all the wood you need for the entire set out of only 3 sheets of 4x8 ply to reduce cost and waste. Total this would be roughly 4ft tall. and the two cabinets could be used to hold your foods/supplies in one and all electrical (i.e. power strips) in the other. Thermostats can be hiden between the to sets if this set up is put in a corner which is what I plan to do. I will be using heat tape on the bottoms of each tank as opposed to the UTH's since the floors will be made of wood.

Cool project! Interesting to see how it turns out. I am thinking about doing stackable vivariums myself but I am not sure how to properly heat the tanks. Would you recommend using heat tapes to create a temperature difference in the tank? I am worried that if I use a UTH in the above tank, the temperature in the tank below will be too high. Anyway, keep us updated with your project. It would be really neat to see some pics of how the construction :)
