Hey!
I just got back from the hardware store, got a bunch of supplies to make my leos some new hides and stuff.
I want to completely redo their tanks now. I was thinking...does anyone use live plants in with their leos? If so, what types of plants and how do you keep them? Do you plant them in pots and just put the pots in the cage or something? Do the lizards destroy them?
I tried putting a small potted Aloe Vera plant in one of my tanks before but I think my female trampled it, or else she just dig it up or something. It lasted like a week.
But I'd like to try again. Or, if people don't recommend live plants I guess I could look into getting some fake ones. I don't normally like using fake plants, but I guess I can deal with it.
