plastic vegitation question!

ok, so i have this setup that i want to start posting shortly once i make some real progress- anyway, i have some real plants ( i have a special setup for these, details later!), but i wanted some fake ones too for decorations- and i was curious, instead of the plants you buy specificaly made for aquariums, are there other safe fake plants to purchase and play with to my little crazy minds content? like flowers at arts and crafts stores?

plus, is there any specific store i can get heat tape at? and, if not that, what would you recomend as an uth? the one i got from the petstore cracked my tank and my husbands!

you only need heat tape for racks..

if you only have heat tape.. just use a UTH pad..

i have never heard of a heat pad cracking a tank

it could have been the tanks then- we aplied the uth the way the instructions said- what about the heat vines i see all the time?
