I viewed this thread and I don't own a crested. I was just curious ;). And I don't understand or have an answer to your question. A lot of times, most of the views a page recieves are from non-users, or the same people (OP most of the time viewing a thread over and over) Also, people generally will not answer a question unless they have a good,helpful answer or comment. Maybe try making your question clearer. Do you mean handling them? Or "is there a specific time of day that a crested gecko would benefit from socialization in?" Or just in general curiosity about other peoples handling routine?

They're nocturnal, so you shouldn't bother them during the day. I'm new but I don't bug him unless he is out in the tank and not hiding. If he's hiding in the leaves I don't bother him no matter what time it is.

Whenever you want, really. But they'd be happier to be taken out when they're awake in the evening/night.
