Playing in Calcium dish and edge of table question

Three out of my Four geckos seem to love playing in their calcium dishes. They literally get it everywhere. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem as well and if there was a way that I could keep them from making a mess?

Also do geckos know to stop at the edge of tables. I like to let mine crawl around my desk when I am at my computer but I am always concerned that they will fall off the edge. Do they have any kind of depth perception and know not to jump or will they try?

My normal makes no mess at all with his calcium. The snow is a terror at times in his tank and gets it everywhere. I have yet to figure out how to stop the snow from making a mess.

Some geckos are a flight risk and wont hesitate to leap, I seen one of mine scope the edge of my bed, and just went for the leap. Whenever I let them roam I try and make a barrier.

Good to know that mine aren't the only ones that make a mess. I thought about making a barrier that they can't get over will have to do that.

Oh gosh, EVERYTIME I refill/replace my leo's calcium in her dish she just HAS to dig it up. And once it's all dug up, I can't refill it because if I do, she'll just dig it up again. Don't know why -.- I guess she's just OCD about the calcium level in her dish? xD Even if I attempt to add a little layer of new calcium, it'll be surrounding the outside of the dish the next day.

Haha sounds like mine. Cameron does the same thing.

Toon doesn't really play in her calcium; she walks through it and spreads it everywhere, and also sits in it while she watches me move around the room. Hugz, for whatever reason, pushes (or pulls? I've never actually witnessed it) his calcium dish across the tank; he also manages to spread it everywhere. Epic attacks her calcium and water bowls from time to time. One day I put fresh water in her little Snapple cap water bowl and she ran up and attacked the bowl, literally grabbing it and dumping the water on her head. She then flung the bowl behind herself somehow and stood there licking her face for awhile. Did the same thing with her calcium dish the other day. Very amusing stuff!

....I think I need to get heavier bowls for Epic and Hugz lol!

Lol mine never make a mess unless they accidently run through it when catching crickets. One time Pico did freak me out and submersed his whole head under water for a few seconds so I was like "OMG, OMG, JOSH (my boyfriend), WHAT IS HE DOING?!" hahaha.
