Just wondering if anyone else has the same kind of experience. All my geckos but one love to come out to the front of their tray (I have a rack system) and check things out...when I clean their tray and feed/water, etc. they climb on my hand and like some limited hold time.

Then there is the one....he waits to come out til about midnight. If he is disturbed then he goes back into his moist hide and waits "for the coast to be clear". Is it an albino thing with the light or a peculiar "giant thing"...or is it just this one gecko.

What are your experiences??????

I've got one that pretty much does this as well, but since he's got parasites he doesn't have much choice in the matter of coming out . He's not an albino or giant though so I can't say for certain whether there might be more cautiousness in those particular strains. And I know it isn't with his strain either (SHCT) because my two other SHCT's (the females and one more so in particular) are wide eyed and ready to go as soon as I start fumbling around their cages...so might just be an individual thing.

He's just wierd. LOL!! Some of our geckos can't get enough of our attention, and others... well, would prefer to never see us, they're just in it for the food! This is a normal gecko thing, he/she may get to be friendly, but some just never do. Good Luck!!

I was really looking forward to him being like all my others....but maybe his offspring will be friendly. It is bear my SHTCT Giant Albino.

I have a tremper albino that someone told me that it is just an albino thing at a show but I would trust the guys on here more than anyone else.
