So we all know how horrible most pet stores are, especially when it comes to reptiles. But let me tell you, if you live in or near PA, you're in quite a treat.
Over the weekend I went to "the largest pet store in the world". The store was recommended to me by the Honors and AP bio teacher - He used to take his classes on field trips there.
(I don't think I can name it here, but google the above - The name of the store is 5 websites down)
But anyway.. We all know there are conflicting views on care and but let me tell you.. With the variety and amount of reptiles they had.. And the accuracy of the information.. It was astounding. Seriously - These animals looked unbelievably healthy, active, and well fed. And their cages were so clean! There wasn't a hint of stink, either.
Beyond their reptile room, they have a massive selection of supplies, tanks, fish, even a "touch tank" where you can pet stingrays and sharks. My boyfriend, his brother, and I spent 2 hours in the store. Great fun!
Compared to other pet stores, this place gets a 9/10. :main_thumbsup:
