hi guys, im kind of new to leopard geckos, although i've owned plenty of animals and have had prior lizard experience. while at petco a few months ago i met a woman with a 3 year old leopard gecko who couldn't take care of it any longer, so i said id take it, and she gave me the lizard along with hides, small climbing trees and a 40 gallon, long tank. after about a month i went and got her a friend. now for the last month or so the newer leo has stopped eating and developed a large bump with an open sore on her head, that started to heal but she got another one right on her rear vent which has opened into a nice sized wound and i noticed a couple of tiny maggot like worms inside, she has no more fat stores and her tail looks like a mouse tail, im trying to feed her a blend of baby food, with meal worms vitamins and calcium mixed in but she doesnt really lick it off her nose and he wounds arent getting better. i cant afford a herp vet unfortunately( and dont know of any in my neck of the woods), and a friend recommended putting her down with the refrigerator method which i cant bring myself to do but i hate seeing her waste away like this, any help would be much appreciated, thanks
