Hello, I have a common house gecko that has been stranded in my room for about a month. This is the most illusive little fellow and I can't catch him/her to put outside so it can get on with its life and have a proper diet. I haven't sprayed for ants hoping they would be a good nutritional source and have been putting out a bottle cap of water in the window sill. Now I have a massive amount of ants taking over and today I noticed that the gecko is looking skinny. Any ideas of what I should feed it. I thought of baby crickets, but I am concerned that they will breed if the lizard doesn't eat them in time. I would really appreciate any suggestions of what and when to feed and hydrate my new roomate. Also, I would love to hear any ideas how to create a habitat for him in my window sill. Thanks! Really sorry for the late comment, Been busy with High school ( I now understand why most of our other GT Members have been busy too :/ ) but eh I would suggest picking up a 5 gallon from petsmart/petco with Reptile Carpet or a substrate that wont shift or some thing that you're gecko can't get under. I would suggest using small crickets, or SMALL mealworms.
