My 2 year old leo Greedo has always been pretty regular, and her poo has always looked normal. One single dark brown dropping and a small white urate attached. She herself has always been healthy and sociable too.

She was fed every other day till about a month ago, about 6 or 7 locusts cos she was always hungry. Then we decided she is an adult now, she possibly doesnt need that much. She was looking a bit chubby and she had fat pockets so we lowered it to every 3. Still the same amount usually. We dust every locust with Repton calcium powder.

This has been fine, she still has slight fat pockets but the poo remained normal and regular.

This morning I was a bit worried. I had already been concerned she hadnt pooed since her last feed 3 days ago. (Its feeding night tonight).
Before I went to work she was sat in "poo corner". For ages. Now I have never seen greedo have a poo, and if I come in and she is in poo corner she looks embarrased and If I dont leave she does. ( I always leave to make sure she goes.)Today she sat there looking a bit stressed.

Tonight she finally had a poo. I will try to add the pic but in the meantime, I will discribe it. there are 2 distinct poos, instead of 1. A normal sized healthy looking white urate and3 blobs that sort of resemble urate but are 3 different colours. Bright yellow, orange and a yellowy brown.

Was she compacted????

Are the blobs old urate? Should I be worried?

At the moment ahe is sat in her house looking quite relaxed considering she has just shed.

Oh the only sand is a sprinkle in poo corner, I find it helps dry the poo while im in work and is more hygenic. She does of course not eat there. there was no trace of sand in her poo.

Can anybody help?? Thanks

if she shed it is quite possible normal , as there poop is different after they eat the shed , so it sounds kinda normal. watch her next poops in the next day or two if you notice red like blood you may want to get a fecal done id be concerned if its blood.
if she is active and alert should be fine is she eating?

I'll keep a look out, I never thought of that, its never effected her before but it could be a reason.
Oh she eats fine! Never had a prob we just pop them in until she stops hunting them.
Going to feed now actually... will update
