I came home to find that my cat had torn a massive hole through the screen covering and was torturing my leo.
Fortunatly, there wasn't any blood but I'm mainly concerned about the gaping slash wound on the underbelly of my gecko. He also has a gash right under his front right foreleg. His normal shade of yellow skin seems to have darkened. Kinda like a giant bruise. I can't take him to an emergency animal hospital right now and I don't know what to do.

Also he won't open one of his eyes.

Note: I forgot to mention that he detached his tail.

I'm not sure there's much a forum can do, those sound like pretty nasty injuries.

Do you have any pictures? I would clean the wounds up really well and make his environment sterile. Make sure it's warm enough (floor temp of 90, maybe a degree or two higher in this case).

A vet would be your best bet, but if that isn't possible than keeping everything clean and making sure the gecko experiences the least amount of stress possible is a good idea. Make sure he has places to hide that are completely dark so he can feel safe, and try not to bother him a lot other than keeping his wounds clean.

If they're scratches keeping them clean and putting him in a smaller slightly more humid container should help. If they are gashes you need vet help ASAP to prevent internal infections and close them. Pictures would help folks give better advice but it sounds like you'll need a vet to help. Fingers crossed for him!

poor baby. one of my mums cats got into her viv a few weeks ago. its an exo terra and she was grasping the handle on the front and yanked it open, couldnt believe she did it. lucky for him he only had a few scratches which have healed now unlike his confidence, hes a nervous wreck now :(.

as already stated use paper towels to keep things clean and sterile, as their easily replaced. I would try and bath him to wash out any bits left in the wounds which should hopefully help reduce the chance of infection.
also try bathing the eye using cotton wool and warm water, hopefully the eye is not injured. i would recommend keeping him warm and covered up so hes in the dark, as the biggest thing to worry about is the shock. shock is the biggest killer :(.
if he makes it through the night then theres high hope that hell recover in time.
leos are remarkable at healing but if the wounds are really deep he will most likely need stitches and an antibiotic jab. you need to get him to a vet asap!
poor baby.
