Please Help, My ( Male ) Leopard Gecko's Poorly?

Hello, Please can you help me.I have recentlyy just gone to clean out my young Leopard Gecko ( Male ) Frodo.. and i have noticed that he had a yellow gunkky substance near his private area.And then i cleaned it of withh warm salt water and cotten Budds.After about ever 30 Mins i have been checking on him and it seems to be coming back but in smaller quantities. I hope there is nothing serious up with him. His temp is normal and so is his eating.But i have noticed that his tail has been reducing is size often. One week he can look healthy with a fat tail and then another he can just loose the weight.Please help me uncover whats wrong with my baby boy!!:main_thumbsdown:

You need a fecal test for crypto, not a standard test.

Do you have a picture of that area? The first thing I think of when you mention "yellow substance in the vent area" is sperm plug. Or could it be abcess? Proplapse?
