Please Help!!!

I purchased this as a Gargoyle, once I got him I am not so sure that is what he is. I would greatly appreciate any help in figuring out if he is a Gargoyle., and if not, what exactly he is. I have attached an image, its not the best but hopefully someone can help me out. I want to make sure I am caring for it properly regardless of what it actually is. Thank You.

Definately not a gargoyle....looks like you've got a crocodile gecko (tarentola mauritanica).

I agree definitely NOT a garg. It also looks to me like a Crocodile Gecko.

Where did you get it from?
