Please help!!!

Hey I have 2 juvenile leopard geckos and when I feed them acasionally the nip at each others tails Can someone please help me??? I don't know why or what I need to do to prevent it!!

To prevent it you need to keep them in separate cages. Geckos prefer to live alone. If you keep them together there is always a risk they will hurt each other.

I would post this in the appropriate leopard gecko section. You'll get more responses that way.

But to address your question...I wouldn't feed them together at all. Also to prevent fights and possible injuries, along with dropped tails, I'd house them separately. I'm assuming they are housed together, correct?

Yes I keep them in a 40 breeder (I know that is more than they need) and seprate dishes
As stated by the other two responses, They should be housed in seperate enclosures to avoid this issue all together. If you are looking to prevent this from happening thats what you need to do. If not it will most likely continue.
