So I have a snapping turtle, three leos, and a crestie at the moment. I'm a guitarist and I play through a half stack, I also listen to my music pretty loud compared to the average person. I was wondering if that could hurt my buddies. Currently my room where I play and my reptiles are in separate parts of the house but I would like to consolidate everything and put them all in the basement wirh me and my gear. Does anyone think there'd be a potential problem with this?

Amphibians can carry diseases that affect geckos, so I'd hesitate to put the turtle in the same area as the crestie. And like someone else said, that level of noise and vibrations could seriously stress them.

The vibration was my big concern, but I'm not worried about the turtle being close to the reptiles cause they are on separate sides of the room and are on different feeding/care schedules.

I gotta say, albeit offtopic, I love your babies on your website! Do you still have them all?

Thanks! :) They're still here, and another one has hatched since then. Three of the five homebred ones are keepers, and I'm looking to re-home Freckles. The hatchling with all the vermiculite on it has turned out to be a bright red crestie with bright orange-red markings, and the one hatched on 2/1 is a tricolor harley that looks like it'll end up crowned.

The web site needs to be updated and improved, but I've been too lazy.

I am going to say yes this would not be good for the animals. I can only speak on the leo part because I do not own the others. From what I have read, Leo's have really good hearing and mine sometimes get spooked when there are loud noises. I have one that freaks out running around when I turn the vaccume on but he is a jumpy one any way.

I used to keep one of my leos in the bedroom. She used to poke her head out of her hide to glare at me with her sleepy eyes when I turned up the volume for World of Warcraft... I had to put on head phones!! LOL Well, I don't keep them in my bedroom anymore.
