hey all,i'm praying poor caramel is ok............
she seem fine,other than she a pig,had a tough time till i started separating her too feed the other two cause she just eat and eat and eat,went too add a calcium dish the other day and she began too eat it all,and then tried to eat the bottle cap lol..........so there goes that idea for the others lol

i hope its not an infection of any kind,ant thoughts i included pics any other info or pics needed just lmk...........or please lmk if a trip to the vets is in store............which i hope not........greatly appreciated.....

What is that lump on her neck? Her right nostril looks funny in that first pic too?, maybe that's just the angle? But there is definitely a lump in her neck? Did she just finish eating, maybe its her meal that hasn't gone all the way down yet?

thats the lump or pouch type thing thats forming,its soft too the touch and kinda deflates shes laying on it now.............only thing i can think of is that whole dish of calcium she got into.......dosen't seem too affect her she hungry i seen her take down a stray cricket,been there two days now

Calcium bubbles are under armpits not in the neck? So I dont think it has anything to do with the calcium she ate?

three days now,seems more evened out today,but not as noticeable, i do notice her and lizzy licking there vent area i know caramel looks like she has eggs,and is going too lay again.......but lizzy seems kinda slugish also,and noticed a couple runny fecal piles today i cleaned up so i think the three girls are going to go to the vets anyways,im starting to worry..........thanks Tara

cheers..........,well i know whats wrong with lizzy,she just laid an egg,she was egg bound,dripping clear fluid from her vent,should have known,but caramel still has the pouch, regardless there all going too go in for fecal checks,just isolating the crap to which animal will be fun lol.......i hate the unknown.........

just saw this. i would be very intrested to hear what the vets says bout it.
i know one of mine has baggier skin under the chin then all the others but it goes up and down when shes breathing, niffing and stuff so just asumed thats ok.

today actually its evening out,i'm really starting to think she just packin it on,and growing more,but will see what the vet says,she's going to lay again too,been trying to get a hold of a vet in my area,only one left,phoned from lunch till close,sent to the answering machine,on rounds its said,wow,thank god she don't have life threating conditions,my god they must not want my money lol,might try the next closet city i guess..........here's a couple from today.....she's about too shed also.......

nope black vinyl mat,but maybe some of the coco fiber considering she likes too eat anything,i have removed it because of that recently,i have to separate her at feeding time cause she'll confuse the others tail tips as super mealies,but shes also off eating as of today and licking her vent like lizzy ,who just layed one and is working on the other as we speak..........i don't know why she was so far behind caramel the first clutch though...........2-3 weeks id say........

I know I've seen another post similar to this...at least I thought I have. Just can't think of it off the top of my head. I'm thinking infection, but I could be seriously wrong. Guess it's a waiting game until she goes in!

well she looks better today freshly shed............the bad news,the only vet in my city that takes reptiles wants 107$ just too look,and another 51$ per stool sample.......thats murder if you ask me id be around 450 for the 3,now they can stick that were the sun don't shine....................anyone in Toronto,near me that deals with a reasonable vet?

well figured id give an update at least,still vet hunting,have started them on GSE(grapefruit seed extract)............until my reptaid comes........big on natural stuff...........and someones feeling better,has the strength of a hundred geckos now lol,much more like her self already........fingers crossed......swelling is down.........fecals still look not so hot......
