I have seen several 15 qt recommendations as well as 32 qt so I thought I would take a poll to see what is the most popular size used.
I know it will always be one male per bin and with the 15 qt one female per bin but how about the 32 qt, could you keep two females per bin?

I am looking at a local wholesaler who has the Vision Racks so I could do a local pick up & save $$ on shipping.

Thanks for any input!

i have a question too. what would be the floor demensions of the right sized tub for a single gecko. i am guessing that a 15 quart would be the right size. is it close to a 10 gallons demensions, 20 X 12 ish?

32 qt is a min. for adults i say, you cant really fit much in the 16qts. The only geckos i have in 16qt are juvie males or babies but any thing else is in 32 qts. I have usually 2 females per this 32 qts if they get along and have 2 hiding spots per end. If you have space, the bigger the better.

....and that is just what I did!

I just got my Vision Rack that holds 10 32 qt tubs and that will be enough for me to start with.
I set up a single 16 qt tub and just felt it was to small. Of course if I had 200+ geckos & a wall of racks I am sure 16 qt would be the way to go for space efficiency!

Let's see where this one rack leads & how I feel or view this in a year! ;)

I keep single geckos in 15q. bins with no problems whatsoever. I have kept as many as 3 females in 32q. bins with three hides with no problems either. I'm sure many breeders have done this as well.

I breed in the 28qt bins. They are only 5 1/2 inches high. I keep multiple hatchlings in a 15qt bin.

i just got my rack yesterday (YAYAYAYAY!!!) and it holds 15 qt tubs but i can switch it out for 32qt if i decide to breed. but instead of having 16 tubs i would then have only 8. the 15qt tubs are large enough for a single leo.

My rack hold 32 qt tubs. I keep 3 females per tub. In each one, I have 2 moist hides and a "rock" hide. All the females paired together get along fine and dont bully each other. Alot of the times, i find all 3 females piled up with each other in a single moist hide. i guess they like to snuggle...hahaha
