I have thought of different names for my gecko breeding ambition, and I would like an opinion in a poll. Please no flaming this time, and if none of my ideas are up to satisfaction, say so nicely. No flaming. (The name Leo Leopard Geckos came to me when I thought of my astrological sign.)

Maybe pick something less flashy. I named mine after my main breeder. You didn't have a option that said "any". Lol. It's your biz so it's up to you. Good for you for making it far enough to make a name.

I personally like GlimmerMoon Leopard Geckos. Hey, I'm an older teeneger, just about all teenage girls, no matter how they are, can't get enough of pretty/flashy names. So I think I'll name it that. I admit it might reduce male customers, but I'll cross that bridge some other time. When I get my business, breeders, and supplies, I'll see about hiring a website designer to design a website for me and advertise on this forum, hopefully.

I wouldn't worry about losing customers. I click on every gecko link no matter what it's called, even "magical geckos". Lol. Sorry Dennis, had to. The name is what people will learn, soon enough they will just call you by your real name once you are known.

Nobody flamed you for your previous idea for a business name.

You got laughed at for threatening to sue the entire world over a trademark you didn't actually own. Which you were applying to the business you don't actually have. Breeding leopard geckos you haven't actually bought yet. Do you really not understand why your previous threads went in the direction they did?

You should look into metaphorical agricultural colloquialisms. Sayings that give excellent advice on the proper order of carts and horses and at what time eggs should be counted.

Taking that in mind.

You mean proverbs?

Don't put the cart before the horse?

What came first the chicken or the egg?

Don't count your chickens before they hatch?

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth?

Not so agricultural:

A stitch in time saves nine.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

A leopard cannot change its spots?

Ziggurat:

I'd just like to add that I don't think you are ready to run a small business of any kind. Most of your research here had to do with caring for geckos. And rightfully so. You've never even owned one. So now you have an idea what it takes to keep a gecko alive. Now you have to start figuring out how to start and be successful running a small business.

None of them really stick with me either. I'm sorry :( But with that being said, I'm so bad at naming pets that I just give them goofy names and go with it.....I mean, look at their names..Toon, Hugzor, Epic.. Hugzor is not even a real word that I know of. I made it up. And I guess Toon isn't a real word either, it's just short for "cartoon".

So, go with whatever name sounds good to you. Maybe think on it some more. And you know, maybe you should own some leos for awhile before taking this plan on. Do you have the funds for breeding leos and running a business?
