Poop help!

Hey guys. So to start my baby/juvenile leo's appetite seems to be fine. Just yesterday he ate 4 mealies and a waxworm. During the night (just a few hours ago) he did a normal poop. It was dark brown with the usual little white cap. Just a few minutes ago he went again and it was a blob and almost look mucus-like. It wasn't liquid or runny nor did it smell at all. Just a blob. Is it normal for them to once in a while have a poop like that? This is the only time this has happened and, again, just a few hours ago he did a normal one. Any help would be great. Thanks!

I tend to think that it's probably okay if he doesn't continue to do it. Just watch him. My leo often has a gooey poop after I feed her something she hasn't had before. The first time I fed her dubia roaches she had one and it kind of freaked me out.

A change in diet will cause a change in poop. Mucus makes me think of regurgitation tho. Not saying that's what it is, but often it looks a lot like poop. I'd lay off the waxworms and stick to something more nutritious, especially since he does fine with mealworms.

It was definitely poop as I saw him do it. Maybe it's just too many waxies though.

This morning he did a "normal" poop again but just a few minutes ago he went again and this one was half light brown and the other half is a translucent gray/white. He seems very active as he was crawling all over every just prior to it.

I honestly doubt that it was mucous in the poop. It was probably the waxworm that wasn't digested completely. Personally, I would not feed a hatchling waxworms. Stick with small mealworms, crickets, and/or roach nymphs.

That's what I was thinking is it kind of looked like not fully digested waxworm and it probably didn't agree with him thus he's not eating for a few days.
