I don't think just missing 1 day is too much cause for alarm. If it goes on for 3-4 days then you might want to consider a warm soak to help move things along. Or if you start seeing other irregularities like lack of appatite, lethergic etc. Have there been any changes in his diet? Maybe a larger feeding than usual? What substrait are you using? My leo eats mon, wed, fri, and I often just see the white urate in his litter box sans poo, somedays both.

I would just recommend keeping an eye for now, and see if anything else changes. Slight constipation is not unexpected in young leos. Watch tomoro he'll give you a real BOOMER :)

yer welcome. Try not to stress too much. I'm sure it'll be fine. This is why I went with a sub adult... I didn't think I was well versed enough in leos to start with a juvie. I'm a big chicken :) Please post how he does in the next day or so.

Well he still hadnt done anything last night,so i have him a warm soak for 5 minutes.A few hours later, there was still nothing,so i put a drop if olive oil on his nose before i went to bed,and he started licking it.I got up this morning and checked his toilet, and there was a HUGE poop waiting for me lol.Ive never been so happy to see poop :D

Dog Shrink: This is unrelated, but it cracks me up because whenever I read your posts in my mind they're read in Kermit the Frog's voice. LOL.

Niiiiice.

hahahah that's funny. All my friends call me Kermit because I'm French Canadian, so it's a play on the fact they all use to jokingly call me a frog, so I took it to heart and ruined their joke :)

For Geckolisa... YAY Poop! Just an FYI in the future if you ever have to soak again for a bit of constipation it should be for like 20-30 minutes even if you have to keep adding warm water to make it stay at a decent temp. Congrats :) wow never thought I'd congradulate some one for pooping :)

Yer welcome hon. I hate seein the lil ones all backed up. I KNOW it doesn't feel good. Also just another FYI, but with no proof behind it, you may want to decrease his feeding the next couple of feeds to give his GI a chance to recover and re-regulate back to a normal poo cycle with out the constipation problems.
