i was looking around you tube today and came across this video i dont no someone who could let there gecko suffer like that, he obviously has parasites and mbd....poor little guy

That video is of a gecko a woman on the kingsnake forum(iceheartedgoddess) rescued. It was found in a small kricket keeper outside of a pet store. The tank had a little bit of blue calci sand in the corners and the gut was so big because it ate a ton of calci sand. She took it to the vet and it was able to live for just a few days. I cannot remember if she had it put to sleep or if it died on it's own. I wanted to let everyone know that the woman who took the video was a responsible gecko owner trying to show everyone the damage that was done to this poor little guy. This was not something she did to one of her geckos, rather she tried to make the last few days of this geckos obviously horrible life, a little bit better. She did the right thing for this gecko and, as I remember, it was a devistating ordeal for her as well. I just thought everyone should know that the woman who posted the video is not at fault.

It takes a LOT of neglect for a leo to get into that deplorable condition. That is an extremely bad case of MBD as well as impaction. What a shame...
