Poor little nose...

I read that this can happen somewhere else online, but Norma seems to have hurt her nose. I've attached a photo. It seemed to have happened during her last shed, it suddenly looked much pinker. I think it may have been because I caught her eating her shed having never even been in her moist hide! I put moss in there but the breeder used paper towels and I think she wouldn't get in due to the moss.

Once I had put paper towels in there she hopped right in. She doesn't seem fazed by her nose, is eating and pooping perfectly normally. Will it just heal on its own? The rest of her shed was perfectly normal.

Maybe she ripped of the shed before it was ready or it was too dry. keep everything very clean so it won't get infected. It should heal in a few days.

Could be nose-rub, not too uncommon when leos are trying to get their shed started. Just leave it alone and it will heal. Don't use any antibiotic ointment, as she may lick and ingest it.

Ah great good to know thanks guys. I've only had her for about 4 weeks now so its good to be reassured. She seems happier and more healthy every day right now which is so nice to see.
