i recently (rescued) a 2 year old male leopard gecko from one of my friends who wasnt caring for it properly it is not eating and has lost alot of the fat from its tail i have him on kitchen towels the temps are spot on i dust his food i have him in set up the same way as my female and she is perfectly healthy there vivs are on top of each other could this affect them?. he also has a swolen eye would just like some advice on anythng that i can do

I would take him to a vet. A swollen eye in combination with weight loss/not eating would probably be an indication of infection.
