I know that this may be a stupid question but I did not realize you could keep pdf. I just wanted to know if they are still posionous when you by them or have they been de-posioned or something like that? My second question is are they hard to take care of? I am experianced with a lot of animals including reptiles but I really only know about what we have in our store and other reptiles and small animals that are common.

They get their toxicity from the bugs they eat in the wild. In captivity they only eat what you give them, they can't produce poison eating crickets or wingless fruit flies. I don't believe they're difficult to care for, but I suppose that would depend on the species.

Poison Dart Frogs

Hi,
You have most of your questions answered. I was going
to add, from my understanding, the little frogs are not that
difficult to keep, provided you make sure they have adequate
humidity. Another good source for them, and info. is; Josh's
Frogs. He has many, and his set-ups are great too.
Best of luck in your decision.
