My 10 month old leo has lately been keeping his right eye closed. He can open it when he wants to(which seems to be when I try to take a picture of it) I was wondering if there was any serious symptoms I should keep a look out for. I was going to try a saline solution eye drops cause or read that these can help as long as they don't have any preservatives. I just don't want to get all panicked over something that could be nothing. He is mostly feeding on dusted mealworms with a weekly dusted cricket feeding. And is pooping and shedding perfectly I could almost set my clock to it lol. Does anyone has any suggestions on the eye drops or have gone through something like this before any input would be appreciated. Here some pictures of his eyes

It's certainly possible that it's irritated, so pure saline drops would be a good way to keep it clean. You'll have to monitor it and make sure it doesn't start looking crusty/gooey or permanently stay closed.

one of my baby leos had eye issues due to problems shedding. The vet recommended "Eye Stream" eye wash - extraocular Ophthalmic irrigating solution. You may be able to find it at your local drug store as it is regular eye wash for people.
