Today before feeding I noticed a growth by the corner of my gecko's mouth, which is preventing it from fully closing on one side and I am concerned it could be mouth rot. Before today I had not noticed anything abnormal. I was told by an acquaintance who had a gecko die of it that it looks like it could be the start of mouth rot.
She is at a healthy weight, eats and poops regularly. I feed her superworms. She's currently in a 10 gallon on a paper towel substrate, temps are roughly 75 degrees Fahrenheit on the cool side and on the hot side 85 degrees at night to about 90 during the day. It's a bit cooler than usual because of the winter weather.
Should I schedule an appointment with the vet? Help is appreciated, thank you...
