Ok so I don't want to jump the gun here, but need some help on this. This is Popsickles clutchmate. This is from a Normal triple het Typhoon x Mack triple het Typhoon. From my macro shots, both eyes are solid red. Patternless Typhoon or just Rainwater Patty? Let me know what you guys think :main_thumbsup:

Thanks! I actually found him in the incubator while Shawn was at work and I saw the solid red eyes and was so excited! When Shawn got home he could barely contain himself. Hatching out a Typhoon was his ultimate goal this season! And, he is such a cutie pie too!

well i'm going on no sleep pretty much but checked again this morning. eyes are both solid! /me happy dance!

these were our very first typhoon project eggs laid this year and were incubated for male. bryan beat me to the typhoons by a few days, lol. cool thing is that i have 4 more eggs from the same pair incubating for female ;)

Congrats Shawn and Lori!!!!! What surprise me more is that this is the first time that I see a Typhoon with ruby red eyes!!!!! All the one that I've seen have very dark almost black eyes.

thanks man. that's one of the reasons i posted the pics here first. i was having a hard time finding typhoons with solid ruby red eyes. my logic in identifying was of course looking at raptors and radars, and knowing the solid eyes were an eclipse trait. but like stated before, i haven't been sleeping much due to a crazy work schedule so haven't trusted my own judgement, lol. i know that matt of a&m hatched out a mack snow patty typhoon, but it had really dark red solid eyes. looked black. im still interested in hearing from others on those eyes. i was taking pics from all different angles trying to disprove it ;)
