How recent is "recently"? I've had a few geckos that don't eat for the first week after moving to a new home.

83-86*F is a little on the cool side, and may be causing him to go into a pseudo-brumation if he was previously kept at higher temperatures. I consider 89*F to be a minimum temperature for belly heat, with 91-93*F being optimal. Lower temperatures can cause their metabolism to slow down since they're ectothermic animals, thus reducing their appetite.

Finally, are you offering him the same type of food that he was previously eating? Some geckos get used to a certain type of insect and will turn their nose up at insects they're not familiar with or accustomed to.
