potential rack...

Hello, just wondering if it is possible to use one of those steel-wire shelving units as a rack, with heat tape or heat cable......the shelving units with the plastic coated wire frame....thanx!

I would use heat cable. I an actualy about to add some heat cable to 1 or 2 shelves on a wire rack.

the metal wire racks seem better. i dont have a rack but id be paranoid as it is with a plastic rack or wook and haing all those heating wires running through it.

I am using a metal rack to hold two 10 gallons each with their own uth's. It's working just fine for me.
