power sun and dimmer

Ok well I took the advice I was given and got rid of the repti glo and Got a powersun. My question is if the power sun takes the basking spot over 115 and I have to put a dimmer on it to lower the temps, does the lessen the uvb output?

From what I read I don't think you can use a dimmer with a power sun as it's complex design requires specific voltages to operate.

Yeah, chances are when you try to dim in, it'll turn off on you.. It's a complex bulb.

You can adjust things in the tank so that temps do not get so high, such as of setting the basking spot so that it isn't directly under the light. Play around with positioning furniture in his enclosure. You'll get it eventually!

im glad i got one its alrdy less hassle then the other setup I had. I just switched to another set up and its nice cuz i dont have many wires every for the lights
