Proven already or not.
Hope you all can see what I think I'm seeing.
It seems like the top layer of coloring is braking down so you can see whats behind it. mostly toward the front and around the inner edges of the iris

Not saying I have created anything new by any means, but I have been noticing these things in some of my reverse stripe project animals. they are the results from a partial reverse stripe tremper to an Aptor type tremper.

Neither of the parents were bought as carrying raptor or eclipse genes. The geckos in question are going on 2 years old and their parents are going on 3 and 5 years old. I know I didn't pay top dollar for eclipse genes of any kind back then or at least none that the breeders knew about
I think it may be the same thing as what a couple other breeders had done by creating their own raptors from patternless stripe animals. I believe the eye thing is the evolution of the stripe genes. SxRS or RSxRS=PS PSxRS=Eclipse/marble type eyes. IMO because of results.
We will just have to wait and see what next generation turns out to have. My theory is the coloring of the iris will be even more degraded. we will see, I am excited to see what the next couple generations will produce.

I thought the Eclipse gene was found out the RAPTOR projects from RT. I could be very off base here it is very early in the morn to be thinking too much.

It did come from RT, but it is kind of exciting for me to be working with "my own" Raptor project

I know they are trempers and I am years behind people but for me to have produced this without any raptors or het raptors in the mix is exciting. basically produced from animals that came out before the raptors
but its all in the genes. I'm sure I have what Raptors came from: striped> reverse striped> to PS albino which is what an aptor is then comes Raptors. I guess I am at the aptor stage in the evolutionary proses of the Raptors so that would put me about 5 years behind.

I don't know if I should consider these guys het raptors or not again time will tell.

I would definitely prove them out, but I looked at some of my bell albinos that have no eclipse gene at all and they have similar eyes to yours, unless I'm missing what exactly you are looking at in the eyes. Great thought though!:main_yes:
