Preparing laybox?

My female is gravid and the last 2 days she has gone in and thrown the vermiculite in the laybox all over the place and made a mess! But she has made a big mound on one side and I thought she laid the eggs! Well I searched and they weren't there so I put the vermiculite back to normal. Today I noticed she did the same thing! But still no eggs. I left it today though becaue I thought I wonder if she is preparing the laybox to have the eggs. She's not done this before. Do geckos do this a couple days before they lay the eggs?

My females do this a few days before laying.
But I noticed some of my first timer females will do this a couple weeks ahead of time. I think maybe they just get antsy because they don't know any better.

Thanks! She's in there right now so I'm hoping for some eggs soon. This will be her second clutch but the first was a dud.

My female did this a couple days before she layed. But when she laid the piles of vermiculite were much more thrown out of the lay box.
