Pretty urgent

I got a 12 gram leopard gecko from a lady off craigslist. She said her son dropped the gecko friday night and the right leg doesn't work right. She wasnt going to do anything for it and I offered to take it and try and get it better. I suspect MBD and maybe a broken hip or leg joint as when she tries to walk it rolls about 180 degrees. I am going to get her to the vet in the morning. I have her housed in a small rubbermaid tub to limit as much movement as possible. I have tried to feed her and she has only eaten 1 pin head cricket and that is it. The hot side of her tub is 90 degrees and she has free choice water, calcium with d3 and Reptilife mineral.

I forgot to post that the crickets were gut loaded with Fluker's calcium cricket food and cricket water crystals.

Thanks Neon Aurora. Vet thinks she has moderate MBD and she is to small to get a clear x-ray. I finally got her to eat four cd crickets holding her in my hand and rubbing them against her mouth till she opened, and then she munched them down. I just hope she pulls through but I really have my doubts.

Aww! Poor thing! Thank you for trying to nurse her back to health. [emoji4]

I would try the slurry. It will be a way to guarantee she is getting all her nutrients mixed with little mealworms, so she will stay interested in live prey. Some geckos like the wiggle that the mealworm does when being held. Definitely continue with the hand feeding to try to limit her mobility. Best of luck!

Well I tried my version of Golden Gates slurry tonight with the limited ingredients I have here(super worms, crickets); Tomorrow I will run to wally world and pick up the rest of the stuff. WE really appreciate your support and guidance. The vet didn't do any cast/splint or support so not sure what that means.
