problem with tongue

Hi,

I have a 4 year old leopard gecko who all of a sudden just stop using his tongue. He eats well and is healthy but it looks like his tongue just stopped working. I tapped on his mouth and even drop water drops and he does not flick has anyone ever seen this or know what could have caused it?

It can be caused by injury, vitamin or calcium deficiency. If it is not swollen and your leo is overall healthy most likely the cause is injury. I would take him to a vet.
