Problem with under tank heater

Hello,

My under tank heater will not stay stuck to the tank. It is brand-new. Any suggestions on how to get it to stick would be appreciated. Thank you.

I would suggest using the black duct tape and tape around the edges of the mat.

They sell silver tape at HomeDepot. It is used in AC unit construction. It is made to withstand heat as well as cold. Buy a roll and use it along the edges to hold it on.

Is it a Zilla brand UTH? I had the same problem. I ended up getting rid of it eventually because it started making a buzzing noise. Figured it wasn't a good sign and got a Zoo Med; they seem to be a better quality.
