This little guy hatched the night before last. This morning and he needed some help with his first shed...While helping, I noticed he has some sort of a prolapse!

I can't tell if it's his hemipenes or if something else went awry. He's so small it's hard to really focus on it. I have him on a moist paper towel in the incubator. I'm not really sure what else I can do...

Any help or suggestions would be great. This is a first for me with such a small gecko. Thanks.

you need to take him to the vet before its to late and they can try to figure out what is wrong with him as I have never heard of this in babies.

I don't know if I'll be able to get into the vet tomorrow. I'm gonna try them in the morning. See if they can fit me in. He's always booked.

I tried soaking him in sugar water tonight a few times to no avail. He looked a little dehydrated too, so I gave him what he'd accept of pedialyte. It's tough trying to work with a gecko this small. The clutchmate hatched this evening with a ton of the yolk sac left...I really don't get it. They cooked for 80 days. The babies are usually incredibly hardy too...

Hoping they'll pull through.
