Prolapse?

Can anyone send me a good site that explains what Prolapse (spelling?) is and the cause? I've heard it several times and am not real sure what it means. Thanks

Oh, I'm not having a problem, I just like to understand the other posts and this has come up a few times. I haunt several forums and try to learn as much as I can. If I understand a problem maybe I can prevent it first. So far my leo's are fine except for a shedding thing with the baby I bought, (because it had a problem with shedding) but I read the forums so I new what to do to help it out. Thank you for the info, I'll study up on it and improve my mind a bit.

Lukus, hemipenile prolapse can be caused by several factors:

1.) the male is too young to breed
2.) the male is obese, and the fat deposits around the cloaca can prevent the hemipenis from retracting
3.) fecal matter, urate residue, or coagulated seminal fluid (sperm plugs), or waxy smegma can plug the pockets so the hemipenis will not retract back in
4.) injury from breeding or the female pulling away too fast during coitus can cause the hemipenis to swell
