I gave him crickets last night nd since I only gave him 3 I thought he would be hungry last night So I game him some mealworms in his dish so he can get himself. Well I awaken to all the mealworms on the floor of the tank dead but looked like he ate them and then spit them out. And they were just covered in spit nothing else. Why would she do this?

Sometimes they overeat and regurgitate because their stomach is too full. They usually learn from this uncomfortable experience and dont do it again. If it never happens again I wouldn't worry about it but if you start to see it regularly I would consider a crypto test and a vet visit before he loses too much weight.

He might not be giving the mealworm a "killing bite" and regurgitating them, try killing the mealworm first then give it to him and see what happens. :)
