We visited the breeder once again and it's a lock. This puppy has choosen us for the third time in a row. Her name will be Agatha Von Gipfiel. AKA Aggie or Waggy Aggie as her tail never stops.

She is a sable coat german shepherd. We can't wait until she comes home with us. We get to visit every weekend but even so it's hard to leave her each time. The kids are very excited and I am already puppy proofing the house. It's like having a baby all over again! :main_yes:

The breeder assigned them as an "A" litter. I told the kids I would like a nice 2 syllable name. I have always found that this type of name followed by "no" works well.:D We went through a web site full of names. We had a couple others such as Ajax, Arui, Amy, & Addie, but Aggie seemed to fit when at 3 weeks she came running out to see us wagging her tail so hard she could hardly walk. A friend said to register her as Agatha and that really made my 3 yr old laugh, so he really wants that name. My 7 yr old daughter has always liked Aggie. So this way I please them both. :main_thumbsup:

I'd like to work towards doing some coemptive obedience with her and maybe even some tracking. Both parents are Schutzhund titled dogs and have very strong obedience trial scores. In fact the father just took third overall in a regional trial this past weekend. Both parents are great family dogs with a lot of heart. I am so excited to have a shepherd coming back in the house as its been 3 yrs since my last shepherd, who I raised as a guide dog, died.
We are counting down these past 2 and 1/2 weeks!
